At 3 months and 6 days old, Nico has discovered that he can close his fist, stick out his thumb, and hey presto! Here's the tastiest of dummies readily available.
This also coincides with his tendency to (literally) spit the dummy, which is a good thing because I wasn't too sure whether to introduce and keep it. Unfortunately it does mean that we have no quick way to settle him.
He's also learnt to put stuff in his mouth. The first victim being a musical star toy.
He got weighed on Wednesday - 5.35kg. No wonder my arms and back have been feeling under strain. It's the equivalent of carrying around a small bag of potatoes and a bottle of Pump.

And Daddy has realised that babies can be chick magnets. He got quite a few smiles when we went shopping at Pak N Save.
Strangely enough I didn't get any attention, pushing the trolley.
Hamish had a great business proposal.
Trial-A-Baby!
This could be used for couples wishing to see if a baby would be for them, but I guess the customer base could also be expanded to grand-parents or wannabe grand-parents longing for a baby to hold, or single guys needing a chick magnet. Hmmm. Idea worth entertaining.
